Nabari no Ou - Scene: Ep.1

I've added this anime yesterday after saw the hashtag for it in my twitter line, one of the tweeps was saying that it was a very interesting anime followed with scores 8/10. For me, 8 over 10 scores indicates the anime is good enough and worth watching. and it's true, at least for the first episode.

While his sensei was saying his pledge to him, Miharu already on his feet walking away thinking about bonito flakes (he loves to ignore people's request if he is not interested)

I must say I like this first episode, I instantly like the main characters, not the usual type of boy who feels like he lacks of self esteem, desperate or a loser, lazy or the cool type or easily giving up.

Rokujou Miharu is a boy who lead a plain life, with his kind of -bored-face, bored wouldn't explained it, oh his face shows nothing, it's like he is just living the life in front of him because it's the normal thing to do, his face made you feels like that, although in front of anyone else he shows different attitude, all smiley and happy and he likes to act innocently to get others. That's why I like him. I like character with a hint of mystery.

Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari

Kenshi Masaki is the half brother of Tenchi Masaki and used to live in Japan, that is until he was summoned to the land of Geminar. The Land of Geminar has been witness to an endless amount of wars that have been fought using Seikijin, bio-mechanical weapons controlled by a capable warrior called a Seikishi using magic power called Ahou. It is revealed that Kenshi is an amazing Seikishi and it seems someone has a reason for Kenshi to be in Geminar, but who and why are not known. (Source: ANN)

I promise myself that I'm not going to watch anymore harem anime consists of big boobs girls surrounding only one boy. I get bored with that kind of concept having watched too many harem anime. I started to watch this because yes.. I was bored and it's only 13 episodes, so I thought hey I can manage that.

It started off slowly and err.. a bit boring, but I'm glad I didn't dropped it immediately. It started to get interesting around episo... I enjoyed watching kenshi's everyday life with the girls, it's funny and entertaining, although some of it was cliché but I'm not displeased :D

Each of the female characters has different personality and actually, not all of them're head over heals for Kenshi, but of course they're all like Kenshi. The only thing that's bug me was some of the clothing/costume for the female (ex: the graduation clothes) looks err not appropriate, not in accordance to normal standard? huh, I'm expecting more actually, but Kenshi read my mind and said "is this normal?" and then I realized, yeah, in Geminar what is not normal for us is normal for them, so be it. Well, it's harem and of course fanservice is very much welcome here.

As for the ending, I like the ending, it's quite satisfying but nothing much revealed actually. You still don't know who sent Kenshi to Geminar and for what reason, I guess the manga maybe explain it a bit?

Shounen Onmyouji

Masahiro is the grandson of the great onmyouji, Abe no Seimei. However, he lost his sixth sense that enables him to see supernatural beings, which is very important for an onmyouji. Thus, he is left with no choice but to try and pick a different career. But one day, a strange mononoke appears, which he names Mokkun, who shows him his true potential powers after fighting a demon. With the assistance of Mokkun, his quest to become the greatest onmyouji begins. (source: MAL)

At first, I just watched this to fill in between my free time, but I got attached to it pretty soon after few episodes. It consists of two arcs, the last arc is Kyuuki/Kazane Arc (sorry, I forgot the first arc's name ;p)

I don't like Masahiro attitude in the early episodes, he seems a bit too childish, em maybe because he's still a child (the truth is I just don't like children actually, lol!) But, yes, there is a but. He turns out to be a reliable onmyouji, he is a very determined boy, cares for others a lot and brave. He grows so much that I turned out to like him very much at the end :D

Now, the ending... it's quite sad actually, but I still like it. At least, it's better than some cliché ending -the-happy-ever-after-thing. I was made to understand, the manga is still on going, so the ending for this anime is actually an open ending. There's still a lot going on that you can seek in the manga, in case you're still hunger for more of them.

Me? I'm waiting and hoping and praying there is a second season!

Hanasakeru Seishounen - Scene: Ep. 2

I just want to separate this one from my post review.

I did mentioned that I don't like this one particular scene where Rumaty and Kajika met the first time. Kajika was trying to hold Rumaty from beating the man who's laying on the floor. I know the man on the floor was the bad person here, but instead of calming down, Rumaty was getting angrier and pushed Kajika on the floor!??

Rumaty such a brat >.<

He almost strike Kajika with the metal and if someone doesn't come over and shouted at him to stop, maybe the metal has already landed on Kajika, oo-emm-gee. I mean, what kind of a man who beats a woman? I just don't like it considering he's one of the main characters :(

Thank goodness this happened much earlier at episode 2. Throughout the show (39 episodes), Rumaty gain my attention back by showing his good traits and towards the end, he looks splendidly gentleman. If you compared the above picture of Rumaty and the following, it's totally different.

handsome Rumaty *.*

These pictures of Rumaty above is one of the proof that the characters were changing and growing as the story grows. Not only Rumaty, but all the characters were actually changing and more mature, well.. (as I mentioned before) except Eugene, kyaaa.. (okay, I better stop, lol!)

Hanasakeru Seishounen

A very powerful industrialist directs his daughter to pick a husband from three candidates he has chosen for her. They are to come into her life, and their uniqueness would cause her to recognize them immediately. All three of the candidates are outstanding. The story evolves along the lines of a power political mystery involving a small middle eastern country. (Source: Mangaupdates)

This story is about Kajika. Her father has chosen three candidates to be her husband, but he didn't tell her who is the candidates, Kajika must find out herself. The only hint her father gave was Kajika will recognize each of the man he has chosen by their uniqueness. Kajika take it as a challenge and together with her two friends aka bodyguards, Li Ren and Toranosuke, they unfold the story and secrets that goes along with it.

This is one of the anime that managed to turn upside down my expectation. Don't get me wrong, it was a great show.

Judging from the anime's cover and synopsis, I'm pretty sure this anime was in the same boat with Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge, packed with a girl and four bishounen. I think one thing that reminded me of YNSH is the art is quite similar, long eyelashes, face features, slender body etc etc. So, I was thinking this must be the same cliché storyline like YNSH but I was wrong.

The storylines were nothing like YNSH, it has stronger plots. This is not your average everyday anime show, it's not episodic, actually it deals with much more serious plots-involves important and dangerous tasks, tactics, military actions and of course romance. The romance is what I like the most, it's about finding the man of your life, realizing the hidden love by separation, loneliness and sadness.

Kajika are bright, outspoken and brave young girl. I like her character very much.

The bishounen :-

Eugene (*drooling*)

 Rumaty

Carl

Li Ren

I only have one complaint, I don't like one particular scene from episode 2. If only, they would change it a bit, it would be perfect for me. I guess, I have to accept it, afterall they did manage to change back my opinion of it successfully towards the end.

All the characters were changing and growing as the story grows, they looks more mature and handsome, well.. except Eugene, kyaaa.. he always looks handsome from the start till the end, for me.

One of the scenes, Kajika looks cute here, with jealous Li Ren and handsome Eugene

So, from the four gentlemen gathers here, which one is my favourite? Of course him. kyaaa.... Li Ren!

oh Li Ren, shoot me with your pistol *.*.... (ohmigosh, okay..*blush*.. i'm outta here, hahahaa)

10/10 :)
